Backstage Beauty: Get surreal skin inspired by supermodels

THERE was one common beauty theme backstage at the SS’19 runway shows; surreal and seriously flawless skin.
At top Scots designer Christopher Kane’s show especially, the inspiration was the idea of a sexy, nature girl who is effortlessly beautiful.

Take inspiration from this look and achieve gorgeous skin, fresh makeup and a boyish eyebrow by using a dewy base such as NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser, £30, and their Brow Perfector, £20.


Before applying the base, prep skin with a plumping, light-reflecting serum such as NARS Optimal Brightening Concentrate, £51, and prime with their revitalising Radiance Primer, £26.


Lips were left unlined and nude in the shade Disobedience Audacious Lipstick from the 7 Deadly Sins Audacious Lipstick Palette.

Simplicity is key and this year’s look is all about hyper-real, hydrated skin and barely-there nude lips.
