March must-haves
Clarins Brilliant Sheer Shine Lipstick, £18
MY obsession for lipsticks never fails to wane, so I’m always scouring the beauty shelves for my latest addition.
One lipstick range that I’m seriously impressed with right now is Clarins’ Brilliant Sheer Shine Lipstick range, which features three limited edition shades for their Opalescence Spring Makeup Collection.
Having chapped lips is a serious annoyance of mine, so I’m forever searching for a lipstick of which I don’t forever have to apply lipbalm over.
This product is great because it packs plenty of punch but keeps lips deeply moisturised and shiny at the same time.
My favourite is Coral Tulip, which is a bold but versatile coral and perfect for spring.
Herra Hair Perfume, £25
A SEDUCTIVE scent is a must-have for any woman.
And there is an exciting new product rocking the fragrance world this season — hair perfume.
Launched by British brand Herra Hair Care, this gorgeously rich scent is made specifically for adding some va-va voom to your locks.
The first daily hair product to provide protection and moisture alongside an alluring fragrance, this smells positively divine when spritzed onto hair.
Used in between washes, it shields the hair against every day stresses such as UV damage and protects your hair colour at the same time.
This has an addictive scent and feels ultra luxurious. You’ll be unable to stop sniffing your hair.
Perfect when you want to add something a bit sexier to your daily hair routine.
Odylique Toning Fruit Butter, £20
FREEZING temperatures can wreak havoc on skin at this time of year, leaving it looking and feeling both dry and uncomfortable.
However, your secret weapon to keeping it in tip-top condition is using an intensive moisturiser which can help protect and nourish the skin during the rougher weather.
Organic beauty brand Odylique have recently launched a new toning fruit butter which is perfect for soothing dull and cracked skin.
This has an uplifted aroma and feels like a luxurious treat when rubbed onto the body. It also contains sea buckthorn to combat ageing UV damage and stretch marks and ylang ylang, which helps to tone the skin.
A little goes a long way with this product and feels like a sublime treat after a nice hot bath.
Aromatherapy Associates Soothing Cleansing Balm, £36
FOR a flawless face, a high quality cleanser is always a must have.
One of my go-to cleansers right now is this Soothing Cleansing Balm by Aromatherapy Associates, which is the perfect product for gentle skin types,
Always on the lookout for a new cleanser as the weather begins to change, this soothing balm is perfect for the transition between winter and spring.
This contains a caring blend of omega oils rich in essential fatty acids, combined with German and Roman camomile, ximenia seed oil, cactus stem extract and sweet almond oil to leave your skin feeling calm, fresh and hydrated.
If you wear a lot of makeup throughout the day, massage all over your face and leave for one minute before cleansing off with a damp muslin cloth.
Skin looks fresh and ultra pampered after using this. Comes from a reliable skincare range which is being raved about in the beauty world.
Colour Wow Raise The Root Spray, £16.50
VOLUMISED hair is predicted to be a strong look once again for 2014.
The catwalks were brimming with big-haired beauties this season, with stylists amping up the volume with big, soft waves.
To get the look, start off by using a clarifying volumising shampoo with a small amount of conditioner before spritzing on a root-boosting hair spray.
Right now I’m loving Colour Wow’s Raise The Root Spray, which should be used on damp hair and gives your hair bounce and volume after blowdrying.
Formulated with three lightweight “elastimers” that keep hair pliable and soft, this unique thickening resin forms a supportive spring around each hair, creating volume and instant lift without the need for backcombing.
