Product of the week: Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel
We all know how costly advanced skincare peels can be.
But now, an at-home peel by Murad has been launched, which gently exfoliates, removing dead skin cells to aid further penetration of the key ingredient — Vitamin C.
Applied topically, Vitamin C benefits the skin by preventing water loss and keeping the skin moisturised and supple. It promotes elastin and collagen, which are the main building blocks of the dermis and give the skin strength and resiliency.
Once applied, this lotion breaks down pigmentation to improve skin clarity and neutralises damaging free radicals, which can cause premature ageing.
Plus, it increases the effectiveness of a topical SPF, protecting the skin from the sun’s harmful rays. Dr. Murad (dermatologist and founder of Murad skincare) on Vitamin C, explained: “Since there is a limit to how much Vitamin C the body will absorb from food, it is important to bypass the body and deliver this potent nutrient directly to the skin.”
The result is an instantly brighter, more radiant and even-toned complexion. I left this on for ten minutes and could really can see the difference after just one use.
