I’VE worn vertiginous heels from the age of 16.
Flat shoes were always a no go – I was always teetering about in heels to make my 5ft 3in frame look taller.
But after a number of faceplants and a few unfortunate incidents involving cobbles, I realised flat shoes aren’t so bad after all.
Now they’re flat out fashionable (sorry), with women’s trainers finally outselling stilettos on the high street.
