GOT a mini-break or weekend away planned this summer? Then chances are you’re going to be searching for some beauty essentials to travel with.
We all know how stressful packing can be without having to worry about which products you might need while away also.
But the secret is to travel light and opt for the bare essentials to save you precious space in your suitcase.
Here are some of my top beauty must-haves for that weekend getaway so you still look good on the go.

Angel Eau Sucree Perfume, Limited Edition, £43

Angel-Eau-Sucree-50ml-EDT-bottle-HR-10191720-3439600191721

THIS classic candy perfume from the 90s brings back nostalgic childhood memories.
Now it is making a comeback in a lighter, even more irresistable Limited Edition form.
Angel Eau Sucree by Thierry Nugler is the perfect scent for summer and comes in a bottle you’ll want to cherish forever.
It’s staple star design packaging is illuminated with pearly glints and will attract the attention of lovers of this iconic perfume.
For those who want to indulge in luxury, this perfume is mouth-wateringly seductive and sweet, leaving a memorable scent wherever you go.
With a tangy hint of red berry sorbet combined with caramelized meringue and vanilla, this fine scent is sugary sweet but refreshing enough for summer days.
They say you can fall in love with the same thing twice — which is exactly what I’ve done with Angel.

Clarins Radiance-Plus Glow Booster, £18

THIS innovative product is perfect for those looking to boost dull skin in time for summer.
Beauty brand Clarins have officially reinvented the art of self tanning and launched a product that does exactly this.
Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster contains a higher concentration of self tanning active ingredients which, when combined with your regular serum or moisturiser, adds radiance and a hint of a tan to your skin.
Presented in a handy dropper bottle, all you need to do is mix three drops of this with your day or evening cream and apply directly onto the skin.
After two days I already noticed a difference to my pallid complexion, which has begin to look healthier and a lot less dull without my makeup.
Containing Aloe Vera Extract, this also helps to maintain skin’s softness and interacts with amino acids in the corneal layer to activate skin colouring.
I’m not quite sure how I managed to live without this product before but I’ll definitely feel a lot more confident taking a ‘no-makeup selfie’ after using this.

Clinique Airbrush Concealer, £15

Clinique AirBrush Concealer, £15

AS the brighter weather begins to emerge, less is more when it comes to your makeup base.
However the one thing I can’t live without is a brightening concealer, which is a must-have for those who struggle to get up in the morning.
Clinique’s Airbrush Concealer is the perfect product for perking up the skin after a sleepless night or when sporting a hangover.
I use this light-reflecting product under the eyes, above the cupid’s bow and on the top of my cheekbones for added radiance.
As well as making your skin appear brighter and more refreshed, this trusty little pen hides shadows and perfects uneven skin-tones.
Pop this in your handbag and touch up throughout the day. Everyone will be asking you what your secret is.

Aromatherapy Associates Orange Flower Moisturiser, £47

IT’S always important to alter some of your skincare products when the temperatures begin to heat up.
During cold climates we tend to opt for heavier moisturisers and makeup, however it’s always a good idea to swap some of this for lighter products as Spring sets in.
A good moisturiser is a travelling must-have and right now I’m obsessed with this mattifying product by cult skincare brand Aromatherapy Associates.
This is a wonderfully light, non-greasy and provides a great base for makeup. Evening primrose, rice germ and neroli help to moisturise, protect, regulate and clarify the skin’s complexion whilst oat extract balances the skin, leaving it smooth and matt.
This is great for adding some nourishment after a long-haul flight and is perfect for oily skin types.

Lanolips Lip Ointment with Colour SPF 15 in Rose, £7.99

NOW I don’t know about you, but I always require a super-moisturising lipbalm when it comes to travelling.
For glossy, hydrated lips I use Lanolips Lip Ointment, which contains an SPF and gives a natural hint of a sheen whilt making my lips feel incredibly soft.
Its latest addition comes in the shade Rose and leaves a lovely dusty pink hue for an everyday healthy look.
ontaining over 60 per cent of their signature Ultra-Pure Medical Grade Lanolin with added vitamin E, natural oils and pure pigment, it leaves glossy lips and will fit into the tiniest of makeup bags. My go-to travelling essential.

Yves Rocher Vertige Lash Curler Effect Mascara, £21

MOST women can’t go anywhere without there mascara, so it’s the one thing we’d hate to forget.
To enhance and add volume to lashes, opt for a mascara such as Vertige Lash Curler Effect, by Yves Rocher, which will keep lashes lustrous and smudge-free.
This brand new mascara uses a unique reservoir brush to maximise and intensify the volume and curl of your lashes.
It also lasts for up to 12 hours and there’s no need to reapply, making it perfect for ladies on the go.

Aubrey Organics Saving Face SPF, £9.98

SOME of you may be jetting off somewhere sunny and others might be hitting the slopes, either way an SPF is a major must-have.
Whether you’re rolling white slopes, enjoying long alfresco lunches, or having a gentle meander down the piste, it’s important that you don’t neglect your skin by keeping an SPF handy.
Even if you’re at a higher altitude and with rays being reflected by the snow, your skin needs to be protected from the sun just as much as in the balmy summer months.
A mini-break essential, Aubrey Organics ‘Saving Face’ Unscented SPF 15 can replace your everyday moisturiser saving you time in the morning and space in your luggage. Small enough to fit in your pocket, it’s ideal to carry with you all day and ensure you replenish regularly.
This is sheer, non-greasy, and water resistant. Available from natural health food stores and www.aubreyorganicsuk.co.uk

THIS award-winning product is perfect for travelling as it shampoos and conditions all at once.
It is the first shampoo that ever achieved Soil Association approval; with a maximum of organic ingredients and a uniquely natural cleansing formula; free from SLeS, ALS, artificial preservatives and salt.
Gentle Herb Shampoo balanced and conditioning for all hair types, including dyed hair. It also helps to relieve itchy, flaky scalps and leaves the hair weightless and super-shiny. A protecting, nourishing item for perfect holiday hair.

Aroma Actives Omega Rich Face Oil, £14.99

AROMA OIL

THE benefits of skincare oils are becoming widely known in the beauty industry.
As well as promising to boost moisture and activate your other skincare products, they also promise to shave years off your appearance.
For me, part of the joy of using facial oils is having the knowledge that it’s hydrating my skin deeply without any hassle.
Designed to penetrate moisture deep into the skin without leaving it greasy, this expertly formulated product by Aroma Actives is perfect for adding a boost to dull and dehydrated skin.
This product helps to revitalise, nourish and encourage skin’s natural healthy glow with a powerful blend of omega and GLA rich Starflower and Ximenia and skin softening botanicals such as Ylang Ylang and Geranium, Chamomile and Patchouli.
A little goes a long way when it comes to this product, which makes a huge impact to your skin within just a few hours.
As someone who deals with oily skin on a regular basis, I was pleasantly surprised at the fact this doesn’t leave my skin shiny for the rest of the day.
Use this at night and you’ll wake up with a perky glow. A must have with the summer weather coming in.
