Glasgow vegan festival returns

The Glasgow Vegan Festival is set to make a return to the city this month in celebration of meat-free living.
Taking place on Saturday October 14, this year’s event is set to be held at Hutchesons’ at Pollok Park with, over 60 fantastic stalls, world food caterers and much more.
Curated by Vegan Events UK, this event promises an immersive experience into the world of plant-based living, with stalls highlighting vegan caterers, food and drinks, beauty, skincare, make-up, candles, crafts, perfume, gifts and clothing, as well as not-for-profit and charitable organisations.


Slaped Toasties will be selling their range of delicious chilli jam, chilli sauce and chilli oils handmade in Glasgow. And VDogs will be selling their irresistible range of freshly cooked to order vegan hotdogs.
Surya Luna Naturals, a small family business based in Ayrshire, will be selling skin and hair care products that match their ethical values in relation to the environment, having a sustainable lifestyle and living in harmony with other living beings. They will be offering a range of soaps, shampoo and conditioners, bath and shower treats, butters, balms and lotions, organic and facial skincare, baby products, home fragrance, pet products, crystals and malas, and zero waste accessories.
There will also be a stall selling Bo’s Book, a new cook book that features simple, easy-to-follow recipes together with beautiful illustrations of dogs from animal welfare charity, Miracle’s Mission. All the profits go to help needy dogs at Miracle’s Mission.
Organisations exhibiting include Miracle’s Mission, a non-profit animal welfare organisation that works with sick, injured and difficult animals. Its mission is to provide a place of safety for animals in danger, to educate on the need for neutering both pets and strays and to neuter stray dogs and cats to prevent the birth of more dogs and cats onto the streets.
The Glasgow Vegan Festival takes place on Saturday 14th October 2023 from 10.30am to 4.30pm at Hutchesons’ At Pollok Park, 116-124 Haggs Road, Bellahoustor, Glasgow, G41 4RD.
Entry is £4 payable on the door (with under-16s going free) or £15 for VIP tickets in advance from Eventbrite to include fast track entry and a goody bag full of vegan products, samples, discounts and offers.
