Be Slick! The return of PVC

WE all grimaced when it had emerged, unprecedented, that leather was back in fashion.
How could it be, that a look made for bikers and rock stars, could end up a chic wardrobe staple for years to come.
However today, leather is still going strong and it is hard to imagine a wardrobe without the must-have fabric.
And now we are facing a similar dilemma as the shops become flooded with PVC, a fabric which makes disco pants seem easy to pull off.
It may be hard to believe, but vinyl is back with a vengeance, and is predicted to be one of the hottest trends of the season.
On the high street, including shops like Topshop, River Island and H&M, you’ll discover PVC pieces clung to mannequins everywhere you turn.
Inspired by this year’s punk trend, this is a rebellious — and don’t forget weatherproof — look predicted to be around for seasons to come.
Whether it’s a slick pencil skirt, dress or simply a perspex handbag, plastic is the perfect way to ass some pizzazz to an outfit.
But if you’re still daunted, check out these daring PVC looks for inspiration on how to wear the trend.
