The best eyeshadow palettes to get you through party season

By  |  0 Comments

IN the same way that normal people buy pyjamas or chocs for Christmas, I collect holiday palettes for the occasion.
After all, what better way to brighten up your day than with a splash of sparkle or shine that doesn’t involve tacky tinsel.

MAC and Charlotte Tilbury are the masters of the autumn / winter palette and they release an array of new shades before Christmas.
Here we picked out a few that will not just make you gasp with sheer delight upon opening, but they’ll also be shades you’ll wear time and time again all year round.

NARSissist Loaded Eyeshadow, £55

THIS amazing palette contains twelve opulent shades ideal for party season.
Each velvety shadow is highly-pigmented, super blendable and is perfect for creating a variety of looks.
It contains a mixture of shimmer, matte, metallic and sparkle shades depending what mood you’re in.
Loaded offers a full spectrum of neutral-meets-opulent shades, all in one limited-edition palette.
Create decadent dimension with a wealth of textures, curated for ultimate versatility.
Ultra-dense shadows glide on effortlessly, leaving a velvety finish.

Charlotte Tilbury Stars In Your Eyes, £60

PREPARE to be amazed by this mesmerising new 12-shade palette from Charlotte Tilbury.
It comes coupled with a gleeful scream of joy after the award-winning sensation of last year’s Instant Eye Palette, which saw universal demand with over 30k punters!
This glorious new palette fulfils all your beauty needs with includes four mood-enhancing eye looks to inspire love, power, happiness and confidence.
Every shade is highly-pigmented, fallout-free and contain sparkling, molten textures to capture everyone’s attention.
I’m obsessed with the gorgeous magenta and purple shades for ‘confident eyes’ which make my green eyes pop.
The ‘happy’ eyes look contains three sun-lit amber shades which are suitable for every eye colour.
The amazing thing about this palette is the crystal-inspired shades, made with real Diamond Powder, release a jewel-like light and clarity which makes your peepers look supremely striking.
The palette is great for changing up your daily look or experimenting with a number of eye-catching evening looks.
I also love how the palette comes with a guide as to which shades you should use for priming, blending and smoking.
If there’s one eyeshadow set you need to own this autumn, it’s this one.

Charlotte Tilbury Palette of Pops, £39

FINALLY Charlotte Tilbury has answered our prayers by creating this quad palette full of FOUR pop shades swiped from their signature palettes.
Both quads have bottled the shimmering, metallic shades into the one palette – and they have the most incredible pay-off.
Supersonic Girl contains a mixture of warm hues, including a stunning magenta pink, shimmering bronze, rosy pin quartz and a russet golden brown.
The Starlight palette is perfect for enhancing brown eyes with its eye-popping champagne silver, warm forest green, golden khaki and rock-star gunmetal shade.
Sweep this on either dry or wet for an intense, glistening eyelid which will shimmer through the night.

This is the most reflective palette I’ve ever used and it looks simply stunning in photographs.
A must for those looking for an expensive-looking party eye look.

Urban Decay Naked Cherry, £42

WOW. Potentially Urban Decay’s most excitable Naked palette yet.
Satisfying this season’s sultry, berry-obsessed aesthetic, it contains 12 warm peach, pink and bronze hues to help you achieve both a girl and vampy look at once.
Each shade is either a soft matte or stand-out metallics, ranging from creamy ivory and shimmering rose gold to the most intense black cherry.
The burgundy shades take evening eye looks to a smouldering climax with sizzling shimmers which will make your eyes pop.
Pair with a dazzling plum lipstick and pared-back skin for the ultimate autumn look.
