BEAUTY REVIEW: MAC’s all new Shiny Pretty Things
I’VE always been drawn to shiny, pretty things – like a moth to a fly.
That’s why I clapped with excitement upon hearing about the release of MAC’s latest collection named exactly that.
Days after unveiling their new lipstick formula Powder Kiss, the beauty brand has announced the release of their hypnotic new holiday collection.
Shiny Pretty Things takes all your favourite products and adds a hint of shine, glimmer and sparkle.
The kaleidoscopic range is full of high-intensity glitter eyeshadows, traffic stopping lipglasses, glimmering liners and an extra dimension highlighter fit for golden goddesses.
I’m obsessed with their P for Pink eyeshadow, £16.50, a stunning rose gold with silver sparkle, which is the perfect show-stopping shade for party season.
Add a slick of the super glam Dazzle Glass in Scarcely Seen, £16.50, a nude coloured beige pink gloss perfect when layered over a nude or creamy pink MAC lipstick.
However if it’s all about the eyes, make some drama like Ariana Grande with a glitter black liner such as the new A Little Moonlight, £17, which is a deep black liquid pen with a silver and gold pearl finish.
Here I’m wearing the highly pigmented P for Pink shadow, which gives a shimmering glitter finish without the fallout, paired with the new Scarcely Seen lipgloss.
This collection is the perfect way to achieve grown-up glitter whilst fulfilling your pretty party needs for the season ahead.
