REVIEW: Charlotte Tilbury’s new Pillow Talk collection

WITH the likes of Amal Clooney and Gwyneth Paltrow raving about Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk lipstick, it wasn’t long before the beauty powerhouse unveiled their full collection inspired by the shade.
The exciting new Pillow Talk line now comes in a breath-taking eyeshadow quad and blush-highlight duo, perfect for those who want a soft and flattering finish that won’t be gasped at from Mars.
As expected though, the popular beauty guru’s new collection already has a waiting list of 25,000.
A soft-focus glow is very much back with a bang and this gorgeous blush is a must have for sculpted cheekbones.
It’s a pinky-taupe colour that looks rosy on my skin whereas the highlight shade is subtle but pretty.
Tilbury advised us to ‘swish and glow by adding a pop of the blush to the cheeks to stick to one shade, then swirl the blush into the “glow” shade to add some shimmer.

Amal Clooney is a huge fan of Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk.

The luxury eyeshadow palette contains three pink and brown-hoes matte shades and a metallic glittery gold which draws instant attention to your peepers.
I love how this simple metallic shade instantly illuminates the eyes and brings out the colour of them without blending on multiple colours.

Wearing the eyeshadow quad, blush and Pillow Talk lipstick.

Dubbed the “supermodel eye palette,” it’s no wonder Tilbury is the makeup artist behind icons such as Kate Moss and Cindy Crawford.
Having already owned the cult Pillow Talk lipstick – a subtle nude-pink that looks gorgeous on any skintone – I was positively giddy upon sweeping on the mesmerising sparkly eyeshadow shade.
Combine all the products together for a pretty date-night look or use the single shimmer from the eyeshadow quad for stand-out eyes.

The iconic Pillow Talk shade suits every skintone.

With thousands of women desperate to get their hands on the new collection, it’s no wonder Pillow Talk has caused such a storm.
Tilbury said about her iconic lipstick:  “I wanted to alchemize that nude and pink, pout-perfecting color that I used to mix by hand.
“It was a colour unique to me – I knew I could bottle a ‘suits-all’ hue that would mimic the delicate rose-blush-skin hue, so one could trace over the natural lip line to enhance it effortlessly.”
We’re obsessed with it already, darlings, as the glamorous Tilbury would say.
