Top five face masks for 2018

Best for… Large pores

Murad Pore Extractor Pomegranate Mask, £30

THIS transformative face mask shrinks pores in just ten minutes.
Made with antioxidant-rick pomegranate and intensive pink clay, it contains tiny exfoliating beads which work to gently scrub off clogged pores and help refine skin texture.
Volcanic clay acts like a magnet to help extract impurities and excess oil deep within pores.
I use this twice a week when my skin suffers from blackheads or breakouts.
Pores look smaller, skin feels tighter and mattified after the first use.
Rinse off with warm water and you feel the tiny beads slaying off dead skin.
Perfect for those who want selfie-ready skin before a big event.

Best for…The ultimate glow

bareMinerals Dirty Detox Mask, £32

FOR cheeks that rival Kim Kardashian’s highlight, this detox mask from bareMinerals is key.
Containing purifying mud with four mineral rich clays, charcoal, and papaya enzyme, this is the ultimate mask for a ridiculously healthy looking glow.
Slather on this mask after a heavy night on the tiles and your hungover skin will thank you for it.
This leaves you with taut, smooth and luminous skin without stripping away natural oils.
Great if you want skin that looks bright and brilliant.

Best for.. Baby soft skin

Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay Mask, £38

ALTHOUGH this is pricey, you won’t regret investing in this incredible face mask.
This is by far my favourite of the bunch and supermodel Gigi Hadid is also a huge fan.
Made with nourishing pink clay, this glow-giving formula also contains moisturising almond oil to leave you skin feeling baby soft.
It feels supremely gentle when massaged onto the skin and doesn’t irritate whatsoever.
I use this when dehydration lines start to form – particularly great after a long haul flight – and it smooths them out completely and leaves my face looking years younger.
Pores are practically eradicated and you won’t be able to stop touching your skin afterwards.

Best for.. Dehydrated skin

Garnier Moisturise Bomb Sheet Mask, £2.99

ALTHOUGH they might leave you resembling Michael Myers from Halloween, sheet masks are great for an instant shot of hydration.
Pop this rejuvenating mask on which is doused in serum for a blast of moisture that leaves you looking glowing and radiant.
These sheet masks work to rescue dehydrated skin and make it look refreshed and plump after 5-10 minutes.
Simply remove these masks and massage the excess serum into your skin and you’ll look rested the entire day.
This one contains anti-ageing hylaronic acid and antioxidant-rick pomegranate for a seriously bright and tight complexion.
But don’t forget to freak your Snapchat pals out with a selfie of the mask first of all.

Best for…anti-ageing

Glamglow GravityMud Power Rangers, £14

UNLEASH your inner Power Ranger with this villain-fighting mud mask from Boots.
Have fun with shades gold or green and beat off those wrinkles by slathering on this cool mask by Glamglow.

Gravitymud leaves skin feeling tight and toned while wrinkles are smoothed after just ten minutes.
Once dry, the innovative formula peels off to reveal skin that feels more lifted.
A must for anti-ageing – or simply if you want a showdown.
