Treatment of the week: Lashtag extensions at Vault Hair and Beauty in Maryhill Rd, Glasgow
IF there’s one treatment constantly requested by clients before a trip abroad, it’s lash extensions.
And although these are something I’ve avoided over the years for fear of ruining my own natural lashes, I was tempted for a little boost before my birthday.

A typical lash extension treatment involves applying individual synthetic lashes onto each natural eyelash to add extra length and volume. They’re perfect for holidays, a big event or just perfect lashes every day.
I recently visited Lashtag Lashes by Cerys McVeigh at Vault Hair and Beauty in Maryhill, Glasgow, to try out the latest treatment using Dollce Doll individual curl lashes.
The treatment can take up to two hours and it’s recommended that you go for a top up after two weeks for the full effect.
Although I have ultra-sensitive peepers, Cerys quickly put me at ease and was professional throughout the process whilst consulting me on the look I wanted to achieve.
I’d originally suggested Russian lashes but I decided to go for a more natural set which looks better on hooded eyes.
Lash extensions typically last the same lifetime as your natural lash cycle, which is between 4-6 weeks.
The high quality falsies Cerys applied framed my eyes perfectly and were around the same length of my lashes but added extra volume and curl.

It’s easy to see why folk get addicted to false lashes as you instantly look that bit more awake and prettier with them first thing in the morning.
Classic lashes cost £25 at @lashtaglashes and you can also book through Vault here
